Erich Erber awarded professional title “Professor”
Erich Erber was awarded the professional title “Professor” for his achievements in science and research by the Austrian Federal President Alexander Van der Bellen. The award was presented by Lower Austrian Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner in the presence of Lower Austrian Deputy Governor Stephan Pernkopf on May 17, 2021 at Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna.
Erich Erber received the professional title of “Professor” for his achievements in science, in his case in probiotics and mycotoxins. The award was presented by Lower Austrian Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner. University professor Martin Gerzabek of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences Vienna held the commendation.
For more than 30 years, Erich Erber has been nationally and internationally renowned as one of Austria’s most outstanding innovators and entrepreneurs active in research and science. He studied economics and since the beginning of his career, he has been a man of practice and innovation in this field.
Erich Erber initiated and accompanied long-term research projects which led to very significant developments in the fields of probiotics and mycotoxins. The development of Tulln (Lower Austria) as a science and research center, as it is now internationally renowned, has been strongly promoted by his activities. He has been honored and recognized for this many times, for example in 2013 he became Honorary Senator of the University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
On May 17, 2021, Erich Erber received the professional title “Professor” from Lower Austrian Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner for special achievements in sciences at Palais Niederösterreich in Vienna.
