AniCon and SAN Vet participated in EuroTier
Participation in EuroTier 2022: AniCon becomes SAN Vet and presents new products/projects
EuroTier, the world's largest trade exhibition for animal farming and livestock management, took place from November 15-18, 2022 in Hanover, Germany.
Joint appearance of AniCon and SAN Vet
During EuroTier, AniCon Labor GmbH appeared for the first time under the name SAN Vet. In the future, AniCon will operate as SAN Vet together with Kylt® and the formerly Brazilian companies Sanphar and IPEVE.
"The merger of four companies with many years of experience enables us to offer our customers an even more comprehensive, integrated product and service portfolio at the same high level," says Erich Erber, founder and president of the SAN Group.
EU pioneer: AniCon explained new vaccine production
Since mid-2022, AniCon Labor GmbH has been producing flock-specific viral, mycoplasmic, and bacterial vaccines for poultry, swine, cattle, small ruminants, and fish in its state-of-the-art vaccine production facility, which is unique in Europe. Vaccines are already produced there according to the expected EU GMP directive to produce flock-specific vaccines (good manufacturing practice). AniCon experts provided information about developments and future projects, such as Next Generation Sequencingin the fields of swine and poultry, directly at the fair.
Kylt® presented new products
Kylt® introduced its aquaculture portfolio, which further enhances aquaculture health management. Kylt® aquaculture diagnostics are reliable PCR tests that rapidly detect relevant bacterial and viral pathogens. This can significantly prevent outbreaks of disease in fish.
The Kylt® Purifier 48, the automation solution for fast and efficient RNA and DNA purification in low to medium throughput, was running throughout the show and can be inspected on site.
Resounding success and combined expertise on site
A visit to the AniCon/SAN Vet booth (F13, Hall 21) was highly worthwhile, as demonstrated by the high-caliber team on site. Vaccine specialists, veterinarians, and Kylt®-Test Kit experts were available for technical discussions throughout the entire four day-exhibition.
The event was an overall success for AniCon/SAN Vet, with many interested visitors welcomed at the booth and great discussions held.
