SBSS was created 15 years ago to contribute to the improvement of veterinarians, zootechnicians, consultants, researchers, agroindustry professionals, producers and other professionals involved in the broad and multifaceted swine farming chain.

The Symposium in the area of ​​pig farming is essentially an event of a scientific nature, with a great capacity to indicate trends and update the actors in this complex universe. In more than a decade, it has become one of the main discussion forums for the sector in Latin America, bringing together Brazilian and international experts, alongside agents from this ultra-specialized market, to share knowledge and technologies.

In this way, it successfully fulfills the mission of selecting, structuring and presenting a high-level program, capable of synthesizing the most recent advances in science and technology and making them available to participants.
