Peter Kickinger is the new CFO of SAN Group
Peter Kickinger (56) is the new CFO of SAN Group. He is an experienced manager and has taken over this position in mid-January. As of now, he is responsible for all financial matters of the company group.
Peter Kickinger is an internationally experienced manager who will be responsible for the financial matters of SAN Group. A graduate in business management, he will mainly focus in his new position on the group’s strategic investments. “Peter has already proven his leadership competence and financial skills with us as Managing Director of SAN Real. I know that the financial matters of SAN Group are in good hands with him,” says Erich Erber, founder and president of SAN Group.
After graduating from Vienna’s University of Economics and Business (WU Wien) and holding his first jobs in controlling at international IT companies, Peter Kickinger took over the financial department and later the management of Holzindustrie Schweighofer. After the company was sold to the Finnish-Swedish paper group Stora-Enso, Kickinger was responsible for controlling and later for the corporate planning of the timber division. In 2003, he was assigned the management of the division with a turnover of 1.8 billion euros.
In 2009, Kickinger returned to Austria and became CFO of the kika-Leiner group, one of the leading furniture retailers in Europe. In 2015, he became Managing Director of SAN Real, Erich Erber’s construction and real estate segment, and gradually has successfully expanded the company in recent years. SAN Real is part of SAN Group.
Peter Kickinger is married with two children and lives in Lower Austria.
