After selling Erber Group (Biomin, Romer Labs) to the Dutch group Royal DSM, Erich Erber has founded a new company group, SAN Group. At the core of the new company are Sanphar (animal health) and bio-ferm (biotechnological crop protection). These remained in Erich Erber’s possession through a carve-out from Erber Group. Together with the Austrian construction and real estate company SAN Real, Singapore-based SAN Pacific Investments, and the recently acquired US crop protection and fertilizer company Westbridge, they make up SAN Group with approx. 200 employees on four continents. “The markets for animal health and biotechnological crop protection are very promising. Additionally, SAN Group invests in a series of environmentally-friendly future technologies. In this area in particular, there is much growth potential!”, says Erich Erber, owner of SAN Group. The headquarters of SAN Group are located in Singapore, Erber’s place of residence.
